This week i’m so excited for our involvement in the Mission Creek event, HOMECOMING. We are joining so many local businesses for an epic neighborhood wide block party. There’s something for everyone, and of course we didn’t forget the kids. Join us for a free music class at Little Mission Studio with Bümo and then parade down the street to find playdate for crafts and bubbles at Chan Kajaal park. Can’t wait to see you there!

Wednesday 10/22 Open-air lunch picnic with rotating local vendors; big lawn for tummy time and toddling feet. Weather-dependent. (9am - 3pm)

📍 Noe Valley/Sally Brunn Library, 451 Jersey St, SF
Storytime for Families – SF Public Library
Thursday 10/23 Books, songs, rhymes, and fun for children of all ages inside the cozy Noe Valley Meeting Room. (10:15am – 10:45am)
Space is limited — tickets available first come at the door starting 10am. Free!

Friday 10/24 Free Halloween fest with carnival rides, hay maze, crafts, live entertainment — classic family fave! (3pm - 9pm)

 SuperNatural – California Academy of Sciences
Friday 10/24 Shake your bones at the Academy’s annual Halloween bash! Enjoy a silent disco in the Steinhart Aquarium, trick-or-treat stations, live animal demos, crafts, face-painting, and photo booths galore. 6:30pm – 9pm (VIP entry 5pm)

Music & Me Fiesta
Saturday 10/25 Join Bumo and Playdate for a Music and Me Fiesta at Growing Stem Academy in SF! A Reggio Emilio style, Mandarin-English and play-based learning Preschool Program. This is a free community class with limited spots available, please RSVP here! Can’t wait to see you! (10am - 11:30am)

 The Joy of Singing – Little Mission Studio (Homecoming Kickoff)
 Saturday 10/25 Start your Homecoming adventure with a joyful community singalong led by the teachers at Little Mission Studio! This all-ages class invites kids and families to warm up their voices and celebrate creativity before exploring the rest of the day’s events. (12pm - 12:45pm)

After class, we will take this show on the road to ChanKaajal Park to join Playdate’s Craft Table at Homecoming, where little ones can make nature collages and sensory art as part of Homecoming kids’ programming. Free and open to all ages as part of the Homecoming Mission Creek Festival.

Saturday 10/25 All new neighborhood tradition celebrating creativity, generosity, and community! Enjoy street mural tours with Siren Norris, a puppy parade, TED-style talks, factory tours, crafting, and more.
